It is a truly uplifting feeling to experience, night after night, the wonder of the harmonious sound of 80 singers performing on the stage. An inspired concert is a heartwarming experience not only for the audience, but also for its performers. It makes you forget every agonising and tiring rehearsal and lifts you up from the treadmill of daily life. For me, this is the emotional experience provided by singing in a choir.
I was born in Győr. As a child, I played the piano in the local music school. I began learning to be a vocal soloist at the Berzsenyi Dániel Teacher Training College. I graduated with a degree in Hungarian vocal performance. I then worked as an extra at the Hungarian State Opera House, and also sang in several amateur productions. For one and a half years, I was a member of the Győr National Theatre choir. This gave me the chance to try my hand at a variety of different genres, including operetta and musicals. I joined the Hungarian National Choir in 1999.
