She graduated from the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in 1993, and since then has been one of the leading soloists with the Hungarian State Opera. She has performed at the Komische Oper in Berlin and in Salzburg, and audiences applauded her performances of Tosca in Vienna, Frankfurt and Toronto, and of Aida in Pittsburgh, Barcelona and Peking. She has sung in more than 30 leading roles, including in all of Puccini's operas, and her repertoire also includes works of Rossini, Mozart and Verdi, as well as the great roles of Strauss and Wagner. This worthy and excellent artist was twice the Chamber Singer for the Hungarian State Opera, and this year won the Kossuth Prize.
