I was born into a musical family in Budapest. I started playing the violin at the age of five under the tutelage of Andrea Juhász-Schlatter, and after graduating from the Béla Bartók Conservatory of Music, I studied at the Liszt Academy with Natasa Sós. In 1996, I graduated with a degree in violin and pedagogy. Between 1998 and 2000, I took part in postgraduate training at the Mendelssohn Academy of Music in Leipzig with Professor Roland Baldini, where I earned a master’s degree in violin. I have participated in master classes run by Vilmos Tátrai, Dénes Zsigmondy, Sándor Végh, Loránd Fenyves, Moshe Hammer and Yehudi Menuhin. I won several orchestral scholarships, allowing me to serve as the concertmaster of the Budafok Dohnányi Orchestra and the Jeunesses Musicales World Orchestra. In 1997, I took part in the orchestral master class of the Pacific Music Festival (with the Berlin and Vienna Philharmonics) in Sapporo. Between 1998 and 2000, I won a two-year orchestra scholarship to the Leipzig MDR Symphony Orchestra. I have been a first violinist with the Hungarian National Philharmonic Orchestra since April 1994, a founding member of both the Mozaik Chamber Ensemble since it was established in 2010 and the Mignon Quartett, which is a regular contributor to the Music on the Road concert series for children. I am also happy to participate in the chamber concerts of the Open Rehearsal Room programmes.
In my spare time, I am busy raising my three children, baking and cooking for them. I also enjoy gardening and go swimming whenever I can.
