Never give up on your dreams!
I started out as a pianist, spending 12 active years with the instrument, but, for as long as I can remember, I’ve always wanted to be a singer. My older brothers were already playing music when I was born, and as soon as I was old enough they started to teach me. As family legend has it, I was able to solmizate before I learned to speak.
Although life took me on a highly circuitous path before I finally arrived here, I feel I have found my place at last.
At the Hungarian National Choir, I have found the professional and human environment I always craved. I arrive here every day full of joy and anticipation, and with the intention of being the best I can be.
The affection of my colleagues, the fantastic works that we sing and the opportunity to develop here all bring me great happiness.
I also receive occasional solo assignments, which is a motivating opportunity and a truly great honour.
I have always thought that women who look after families with three (or more) children would do a superb job of running a business, or even a large company.
As the mother of three wonderful girls, I have gained a great deal of organisational experience, which has paid dividends in my work as the stage manager of the female choir.
